July 1st, 2026 was quite an interesting day for a number of people, myself included. A press conference, earlier announced here (substack), alone with planned a live stream (youtube) occurred at the House Triangle (aka The Triangle) in front of the US Capitol in Washington, DC.
During the press conference - hosted by Jessica Denson and sponsored by Representative Al Green - Air Force Major Jason Watson spoke about the reasons that Trump is a direct threat to our democracy. After the press conference, he walked up on the Capitol steps holding an Impeach, Convict, Remove sign. The Air Force Major was arrested by Capital Police, handed off overnight to the DC Police, and then will likely face court marshal for what he said at the press conference.
